It was obvious I wasnt in the room at the time... I mean who saw me? No one. Have you really got any proof? Didnt think so. You can even ask my brother... I was with him throughout that whole day! Trust me... do you not trust me? After all these years? Wow some friend you are. So go on! ask my brother where I was at that day and time he'll tell you. I w-w-was helping out with the new house. Painting I was. T-t-trust me.
Nice use of an unreliable voice with repetition, pauses, non-fluency etc. Try and write longer pieces to show you can sustain a voice and create cohesion and structure.
